Chief Technology Officer
We are recruiting a Chief Technology Officer
to lead our technology development in customer-oriented next generation safety assessment.
We are looking for strong leadership skills in working cohesively and well-aligned to company objectives and results with both our internal team and customers to meet solution requirements.
You should also be hands-on and enjoy developing excellent software and user-oriented products and services delivering value from data generation through to consumption.

What you need to succeed
- Excellent leadership, collaboration and communication skills
- Ability and commitment to engage, align with and enable corporate and customer goals
- Passion for user orientation enabling go-to-market success and exponential growth
- Experience in guiding a technical team
- Strong architectural and programming skills
- Experience with Python and either F# or a similar functional programming language (OCaml, PureScript, Elm or Haskell)
- 3+ years of experience leading teams of software developers
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with server-based development (e.g. Django, Flask, node.js)
- Experience with data modeling and databases (Relational or NoSQL)
- Experience with browser-based development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience in turning verbal requirements into working software solutions
- Fluency in English
- Experience with machine learning models is a plus
- Experience with the life sciences and QSAR models in particular is a plus
What you will do
In this role, you will be closely involved at the C-level in the strategy and directions for the business. You will interact and communicate with management, team, partners and customers regularly and are comfortable with that responsibility.
You will oversee the technical development of all our solutions.
You will also be responsible for the technical team including hiring of developers.
You will advance our existing solutions written in F# and Python and will design and implement new solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the existing infrastructure and deployments (based on Kubernetes and Docker containers).
