In3 is recruiting

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action

The in3 project is funded by the EU's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action - Innovative Training Network. It aims to drive the synergistic development and utilisation of in vitro and in silico tools for human chemical and nanomaterial (NM) safety assessment. Overall, 15 PhD students carry out these activities in a coordinated and highly collaborative fashion and one of these will be located at DC working on Data management and Bioinformatics.

During her/his fellowship, the student will have the chance to work closely with the group of Marcel Leist at the University of Konstanz and another academic partner in the network, take scientific and soft-skills training and to work on her/his thesis leading to a PhD degree awarded by the University of Konstanz.

Recruitment is open now and will remain open until all positions are filled. (Please check the requirements for applications including existing master degree in an area relevant to the project, being in the first 4 years of their research career and living outside of Switzerland for at least 3 years before the appointment).

About Edelweiss Connect

Edelweiss Connect has developed computer software that helps combine data from many different sources and formats into a useable form for evaluation and re-use. In addition, we have developed other software programs that can use the collected data and data from in vitro tests to predict the safety of chemical compounds in the human body.
