Collaborative Research & Development

Edelweiss Connect has been either the project leader or major partner on numerous funded large-scale projects. These include EU funded projects such as OpenRiskNet, NanoCommons, EuToxRisk, AceNano, eNanomapperEBiSC and OpenTox. Some public-industry funded partnerships include ToxBank and ToxHQ.

EwC also founded and/or manages several communities including eCheminfo, InnovationWell, Scientists against Malaria and the continuation of OpenTox. We are also partnering on several smaller technology development consortia involving small companies and academic-based researchers.

EwC is a leader in Knowledge Management (KM) in biotechnology and related health sciences.  We operate several KM training workshops per year, in addition to having operated other expert workshops in areas such as software-based Drug Design. These workshops have taken place all over the world.

This founding principle of collaboration is an incubator for various projects and technologies.  By developing such a large network, EwC is always able to collaborate with the brightest experts in various related fields.
