The SaferSkin Open Database provides open access to curated data for skin sensitization including physical chemical, biological data and data prepared for modelling. We have for example used this data supporting the development of SaferSkin models (e.g., see recently developed Bayesian Network Models in the reference below).
The SaferSkin Database Compound Explorer user notebook application demonstrates interaction with the SaferSkin Open Database through a web interface. The database is openly available as a web service via the EdelweissData cloud solution that was designed for easy and transparent sharing of datasets. This allows users to build web applications or notebooks (like this one) that interact with the database through the web (more specifically through REST API services) independently of selected technologies.
